A Warning Horn Is Triggered After Braking On The Landing Rollout
Excessive use of the brakes will cause them to overheat, and in extreme circumstances this can result in the fire bell being triggered. The fire bell can be cancelled using the switchlight on the glareshield and the brake temperatures can be monitored using the BRAKE TEMP panel on the top-right of the engineers panel (see manual for more details).
Excessive braking is usually a result of landing with a high gross weight and/or not making use of the spoilers and reverse thrust.
