By default, the information overlay labels (red text labels) can be cycled through three options, "All Aircraft", "Only flying aircraft", and "No overlay" using the Insert key.

If pressing the Insert key doesn't work, you can check that the key is bound properly by opening the X-Plane settings and looking under Keyboard > Plugin Provided > TrafficGlobal > config for the "Cycle AI aircraft label mode" option.
