If you installed the Duke and clicked on the ignore button with the (0x3) file error messages:

Please uninstall the Black Square - Duke via your control panel > programs and features then once uninstalled check to make sure the Duke folder and content has been removed from your community folder. If its still there feel free to delete it.

Or if you stopped at that point and cancelled the installation:

Then perhaps try re-installing it this way?:

Because this can sometimes be useful we have added a commandline option to the installers to let the user browse to a custom location

Run the installer from the commandline with BROWSE added as a commandline parameter

To run from the commandline the easiest way is to

1) Open a console window (Right-click on the windows Start button and select Command Prompt or type in Command Prompt in the search bar)

2) Drag the Duke installer file on to the console window. This will fill in the commandline with the full file path to the installer exe

3) Add a space and then add BROWSE (in caps) then press return/enter

*The installer should now pop up a  Select path..  dialog where you can browse to select a custom location.

4) Perhaps browse to your download folder. The installer will then install the package to this location.

Once installed you can copy and paste the package/aircraft folder to your community folder.

Note copy and paste (rather than cut and paste, or move) as the real community folder may be encrypted and only copy will work correctly. Once successfully copied the package in the custom location can be deleted
