The low wing and T-tail of the F28, plus the MTOW (Maximum Takeoff Weight) being less than half that of a standard A320/737 sixed airliner, can make the aircraft susceptible to being effected by windy conditions. The low ground clearance of the wings can also lead to wing tip strikes on landing if the aircraft is not wings level during the flare and touchdown phase (we have added wing scrape sound effects in the event that you do experience a wing strike!).

Users are able to customise the strength of the MSFS weather conditions at MSFS Options > Assistance Options > Piloting > Turbulence. Setting this option to LOW or MEDIUM will reduce the wind strength in the simulator, making the environment more stable.
